Sidewalk Cleanup Program

We identify sidewalks in high-priority areas to clear weeds, trash, and debris that prevents people from safely using them. Sidewalks that are overgrown not only look bad: they force people off into the road, raising the risk of collisions.

We look for a few distinct features when prioritizing where to work:

  1. Neighborhood has several overgrown and blighted sidewalks.
  2. Neighborhood is experiencing home renovations and new developments.
  3. Sidewalks that are near residential, commercial, schools and parks.
